OATMEAL FACIAL FOR BEAUTIFUL SKIN

Oatmeal has been a nutritious food for many years. It contains a lot of nutrients, fibers and minerals that are good for our body. Aside from being a healthy breakfast, it is also healthy for the skin.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OATS & OATMEAL?

                        OATS- A cereal plant that grows in moderate to cold climates and used for various purposes such as animal feed and human breakfast consumption.

                        OATMEAL- The meal made from the ground oats that mostly has its uses in breakfast cereals and other fulfilling food.

  COLLOIDAL OAT- The best type of oatmeal to use on your skin is finely ground oatmeal powder. It dissolves well in liquid and is easily absorbed by your skin.

GREAT OATMEAL FACIAL RECIPE FOR SKIN:

 OATMEAL FACE MASK FOR ACNE/ ACNE SCARS

 Ingredients:

¼ cup warm water

1 tablespoon coconut oil

 3 tablespoons of oatmeal

Directions:

Stir until the ingredients have formed a paste.

Wash your face and neck with warm water (to open pores).

Apply it to your face and let it sit for fifteen minutes.

Rinse the mask off with lukewarm water. Then wash your skin with cool water (to close and tighten pores).    

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons oatmeal

1 teaspoon baking soda

Water (just enough to make a paste)       

Directions:

Grind two tablespoons of oatmeal in a blender. Add one teaspoon of baking soda to the oatmeal with enough water to make a paste. Apply the oatmeal paste onto clean, dry face. Leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with cool water.

 

2 OATMEAL FACE MASK RECIPES FOR OILY SKIN

Mix together two tsp each of oatmeal powder, bean and a generous pinch of turmeric powder. Add some water to make a paste. Apply it on the face and let it dry. Wash off and repeat twice in a week.

Take some oatmeal powder in a bowl. To this, add lemon juice and rose water in 2:1 ratio. Mix and apply the mixture all over the face. Wait until it gets dry and wash off with plain water. Repeat 2-3 times in a week.

 

OATMEAL FACE MASK FOR EXFOLIATING & MOISTURIZING SKIN.

This DIY oatmeal and honey mask moisturizes, cleanses, and exfoliates, leaving you with a super soft and glowing complexion.  

Ingredients:

Oatmeal

Brown Sugar

Raw Honey

Jojoba Oil

Organic Essential Oils (2Frankincense, 2 drops geranium 1 drop lavender)

Directions:

Grind oatmeal and brown sugar into a fine powder using a coffee grinder or blender of your choice. Add the raw honey, jojoba oil and essential oils and stir well. Wet face with a little warm water. Apply a small amount of facial scrub to your skin and gently massage using small, circular motions for several minutes.

For best results, leave facial scrub on your face for 5-10 minutes if you have time. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.

 Ingredients:

 2 tablespoons oatmeal

1 tablespoon honey

2 tablespoons almond/coconut milk

Directions:

 Mix honey, oatmeal, vegan milk and mix thoroughly. Make a paste of desired consistency.

Apply it on your face and let it dry on your face for about 15 minutes.

Wash it off to discover softer, moisturized skin.
