SELF-LOVE

In our lives, we prioritize others needs and wants before our own. We always invest in others but forgot to give ourselves the same love and care. There is a common misconception that we must sacrifice our own needs, wants and desires for another and in doing so that some how proves how much we love them.

Common signs that you are in a an unhealthy relationship with yourself and someone else. You Feel:

*ALONE

*EMPTY

*USED

*WORTHLESS

*STRESSED

*GUILTY

*LOST

*DEPRESSED

*REGRETS

This is a repetitive cycle that we allow ourselves to get involved with.  These things will never change until we know how to love our selves. Self-love should always come FIRST before anything else. Without self-love, we keep ourselves out of alignment with the abundant life God has for us.

So let us make this process simple and let me walk you through it.

*WHAT IS SELF-LOVE? (Everybody knows this simple question but not the answer.)

Self love is putting your needs, wants and desires first. It is aligning yourself, your mind, your body, your spirit, your emotions, your choices and your habits with God’s word. Self Love is taking care of yourself like you are royalty, seeing yourself as royalty and only allowing people to treat you as royalty.

              

 * WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO START TO PRACTICE SELF-LOVE?

                When you start to say to yourself that this is "ENOUGH".  You are "TIRED" of everything in your life not working and you really desire to feel Happy, Healthy & Abundant. Starting the practice of self love is easy, just set your intention and say a prayer to God. Ask God to help you learn to love yourself, help you loveryourself as He loves you and to make His ways your ways.

 *ONE GREAT WAY TO LOVE YOURSELF

                Practice Forgiveness. Forgive yourself for not always being loving toward yourself. Forgive yourself yourself for allowing others to not always treat you in a loving way. Forgive yourself for not taking care of your mind, body, spirit, emotions, money and relationships. Know that its okay that you have made mistakes, use that as a lesson.

Set a Goal for yourself every week to improve your relationship with yourself. Do something that you never did before from all the stress, the failures from the past, from simply being too hard to yourself. Set “heart centered” goals.  Spend more time with yourself and appreciate yourself. Learn to accept who you are, flaws and all. Be proud of yourself for all of the changes that you are making in your life.

When you prioritize self-love, people can never bring you down. You are not living to impress anyone but only to earn God’s pleasure and fulfill your unique purpose in life.
